UPDATE: After I sent this guy a Cease & Desist letter he seems to have taken down his entire site. I’ll be keeping an eye on my logs just to be sure. Special thanks go out to Jonathan at Plagairism Today for helping me resolve this issue.

Wow…I guess I’ve hit the big time.

Right smack dab in the middle of all this talk about content theft I find myself staring at the web site of a spammer/content-thief who has stolen my entire site, or at least an entire page off my site, and framed it with his own ads at the top in an attempt to make money off of my hard work. It was purely by accident that I found it, and now I’m really freakin’ peeved.

I’m sure Google will be happy to hear about this moron who is clearly breaking the Terms of Use of Google’s AdSense program, and I’m thinking it will feel mighty nice when he or she gets their account shut down. If you’d like to see the offending blog you can follow this link to his scraper site. Don’t worry, I used rel=“nofollow” in the code, so he won’t benefit from this link.

So…any suggestions from the web-veterans out there on how best to deal with this? Please leave a comment, I could really use some good ideas.
